Since returning home to Australia, I’ve received many questions about the Deeksha initiation process — what it means, what it involves, and why I chose to walk this sacred path.
This is more than a moment. It is an initiation into living rhythm — a sacred vow that transforms how you walk, speak, serve, and offer your work in the world.
Deeksha is the foundation of everything I now live and offer — and at the heart of it all is Sri Shakti Amma.
🌹 Who is Sri Shakti Amma?
Sri Shakti Amma is the living embodiment of Nārāyaṇī, the Divine Mother — She who holds all aspects of the Goddess within her.
At the sacred temple in India, known as Sripuram or Peedam, Amma walks, teaches, and blesses devotees directly. To be in Amma’s presence is to feel the Devi herself — not metaphorically, but fully, literally alive.
Aspects of Amma’s embodiment include:
- 🌹 Lakshmi – Divine abundance and grace
- 🌹 Saraswati – Wisdom, mantra, and sacred knowledge
- 🌹 Durga – Protection, strength, and spiritual clarity
- 🌹 Kali – Transformation, truth, and time
Amma is not simply a teacher or spiritual figure — She is Bhakti in form, the Divine Feminine embodied, guiding thousands on the path of dharma, devotion, and sacred service.
✨ What is Deeksha?

Dheeksha means ‘initiation’, and comes from dheekshinyam — ‘the Supreme Energy or Light’.

Deeksha is an 11-day spiritual process of purification, mantra, service, and personal alignment. Each day involves sacred practices in the temple and culminates in a moment where you formally take Sri Shakti Amma as your Guru.
This initiation marks the beginning of a direct relationship with the Divine — a soul alignment that is not symbolic, but literal and alive. You enter into living rhythm with Amma and the Devi within.

The Instagram reel I shared captures the exact moment Sri Shakti Amma gave me Her mantra.
That joy on my face? It wasn’t staged or posed. It was the recognition of a soul finally remembering its source.
That joy in the reel? That was the moment Amma gave me Her mantra — a soul-lighting, heart-opening transmission I will carry forever.
This mantra now lives within me. It pulses through every offering I share, every woman I hold, every circle I guide, and every sacred act of healing at Temple Aurore.

The Deeksha path with Sri Shakti Amma has become the foundation of my work. Everything I offer — from Ayurvedic healing to Womb Wisdom and spiritual transmission — flows through the rhythm of this vow.
